CivicRoot™ is a nonpartisan civic education platform that provides AI-powered voter information, ballot research, and political literacy training tools. CivicRoot is provided "as is" for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, political, or electoral advice.
CivicRoot™ and all associated names, logos, branding, software, curriculum, methodology, AI training data, training modules, content, and technology are the exclusive intellectual property of CivicRoot and its founders. All rights reserved.
The CivicRoot™ name and mark are proprietary trademarks. You may not use the CivicRoot name, logo, or branding in any form without prior written consent.
Unauthorized reproduction, copying, imitation, distribution, or creation of derivative works based on CivicRoot's platform, curriculum, or methodology — in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited and may result in civil and/or criminal liability.
Subject to these Terms, CivicRoot grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial civic education purposes, or for your organization's internal use if you hold an active organizational license.
You may not: (a) copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Platform; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code; (c) create competing products or services based on CivicRoot's concepts, curriculum, or methodology; (d) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
Organizations that purchase a CivicRoot license may access additional features including training modules, facilitation guides, and impact reporting tools. Organization licenses are non-transferable and may not be shared outside of the licensed organization. CivicRoot reserves the right to revoke access for violation of these Terms or misuse of the platform.
You agree not to use CivicRoot to: spread disinformation or partisan propaganda; impersonate any person, organization, or government entity; collect or harvest user data without consent; engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's functionality; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform.
CivicRoot provides information for general civic education purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we make no warranties — express or implied — about the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of ballot or candidate information. Always verify information with your official state or local election authority before making decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CivicRoot and its founders, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on any information provided.
CivicRoot reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
