// About CivicRoot

CIVIC INFRASTRUCTURE
FOR THE NEXT CENTURY.

CivicRoot is a two-arm civic technology organization. A non-profit Foundation builds free tools for voters. A for-profit Company sells an AI-native campaign operating system. One mission, two funding models, zero conflicts of interest.

// Why we exist

AN INFORMED VOTE IS A RIGHT — NOT A PRIVILEGE.

Every election, tens of millions of Americans walk into a polling place under-informed — not because they don't care, but because the information was never made accessible. Meanwhile, the campaigns and organizations trying to help them are stuck with tools built for one party, one cycle ago, at prices only the top of the ballot can afford.

CivicRoot exists to fix both sides of that gap — with plain-language civic tools for voters, and modern, nonpartisan software for the campaigns and organizations doing the work.

// How it's structured

TWO ARMS. ONE MISSION.

// What we hold to

OUR PRINCIPLES.

NONPARTISAN BY ARCHITECTURE

Not nonpartisan by promise — nonpartisan by structure. Our voter tools are not funded by campaigns, PACs, or advertisers. Our SaaS is sold to both parties. Neither side pays to influence the other.

FREE FOREVER FOR VOTERS

Every voter-facing tool — Ballot Lookup, Ask AI, the Civic Action Lab — is free at the point of use. Forever. Sponsors and donors underwrite the cost so voters never pay.

NO ADS · NO DATA SALES

We do not run advertising. We do not sell user data. We do not rent our audience to campaigns. The revenue model is transparent: sponsorships fund the Foundation, subscriptions fund the Company.

BUILT TO LAST

Civic infrastructure should outlive any single cycle, administration, or founder. The two-arm structure exists so mission products can never be sacrificed to hit a revenue target.

CivicRoot is not affiliated with any political party, campaign, or government agency. All voter-facing content is editorially nonpartisan and source-cited. Our SaaS products are sold to any qualifying committee or organization regardless of political affiliation.
